Jeff Chorpenning
Jeff Chorpenning is a highly motivated Temple University student. He was born and raised in Bucks County, but is currently living in North Philadelphia. He graduated from William Tennent High School in June 2005 where he played Soccer and Basketball as well as was a member of the Future Business Leaders of America. He then started his college career that following August at Bucks County Community College where he attended for a semester before transferring to Montgomery County Community College to assist in Baseball operations. He then transferred to Temple University the following year to study Sport and Recreation management. He is currently in his Junior year and plans to graduate in May of 2009. Upon graduating Jeff hopes to start a successful career in either the NFL or NBA in player personnel, scouting, or human resources. Prior to becoming a PSTC intern Jeff has worked for many different companies that has given him many great opportunities and experiences to allow him to grow as a person and a professional. In the 2007 AFL season Jeff interned for the Philadelphia Soul where he did game day operations and marketing. Through this experience he gained a skill for dealing with high pressure situations. Another location he worked at was Sovereign Bank Arena in Trenton, NJ where he worked in the corporate sponsorship / premium seating department selling sponsorships and luxury suites to clients. Through these work experiences Jeff has obtained many valuable assets that will be beneficial to the PSTC staff and clientele. As a PSTC intern Jeff hopes that he can have a positive effect on the athletes both physically and educationally to prepare them for their next step to college. Since starting with PSTC Jeff has been mostly helping with the 7on7 Passing Football League as a field manager and referee. As the season moves on he will be working towards making the PFL the best 7on7 league anywhere as well as preparing for the speed training camp starting in the summer. |
