Saturday, August 9th Temple University Geasey Turf Field GameTime 7:00 pm
Congratulations to the 10 teams and 200 players throughout the past 14 weeks that have been playing their hearts out on the field and keeping up their grades in the classroom. As student-athletes you have been a shining example as a positive role models of high school football players in the tri-state area of Philadelphia. The fans have loved watching you play on the field and the coaches have all commented on how great the players are receiving the league week after week. Now its time to be recognized by the city of Philadelphia for your hard work in the classroom and on the football field.
VOTE The players with the most votes by their friends, family, fans, and coaches will be selected for the Inaugural Passing Football League All-Star game. Everyone is permitted one vote in one position. Voters please vote for one person in any one position. If you vote for one player in more than one position, your vote will only count towards that player one time in one position. All contact information must be filled out in order votes to count towards the total votes. The student-athlete with the most votes per position will be the starter. Based on the number of votes will determine back-ups and substitutions. Players will be contacted of their acceptance decision to be on the all-star team and if they are unable to attend the next player will be contacted.
Players Criteria If you are selected to the PFL All-Star team it is MANDATORY that you participate in the August 8th Community Clean-Up with Sneaker Villa at McVeigh Recreation Center at D & Ontario Street from 11am - 2pm. If you need transportation, please let the PFL staff representative know of your request for transportation. We will have a central pick-up location for everyone to meet at 10am.
This should be the final clean-up for all participants of the Passing Football League as your requirement for participation in the league as requested by our sponsor, Sneaker Villa. Please check the Sneaker Villa Clean-Up Schedule for more dates and locations. Remember that the clean-ups are for everyone one, your teammates, friends, family, coaches, girlfriends, athletic teams, etc. The more people that are at each clean-up, the more the community will have positive images of young people doing positive things to help uplift the city of Philadelphia.
