Great mini-camp with Green Bay Packers

Philadelphia, PA -After a long 8-month layoff from the Detroit Lions, being misrepresented by a former agent, Darrell Blackman finally got the shot that he needed by joining the Green Bay Packers Rookie Orientation Weekend on May 1 - 3 at Green Bay Packers Lambeau Field.

Darrell has been a running back most of all of his life from Pop Warner to high school and eventually getting a full athletic scholarship to NC State Wolfpack.  But in an unselfish move, the coach wanted to use Darrell explosiveness as a runner and strength as a blocker at wide receiver.  After doing so, he shined and received all-acc honors as a running back and a wide receiver.  After finishing school, Darrell slipped from the draft into free agency, but signed a free agent contract with the Detroit Lions in 2008, but was later released.  Although several NFL scouts wanted to see him at running back, his former agent did not promote him as such.

Since October, Darrell has been working with Maine Prince and Philadelphia Sports Training Center and has signed with a new NFL sports agent, Christopher Cabott, Esq. from Zane Management.  Thanks to Chris' due diligence and connecting to all NFL teams that needed a running back and a special teams kick returned with Darrell's explosiveness.  Through his training at PSTC and his steadfast determination, Darrell got a second chance at his childhood dream of playing in the National Football League.

Congratulations to Darrell, his family, Chris Cabott, and his exceptional sports performance trainer, Maine Prince...keep up the Great Work!

Congratulations to PSTC client, Darrell Blackman

Darrell was called on Sunday, a year after he received his first pro team call.  He was invited by the Green Bay Packers to sign a free agent contract and he will be joining the team this weekend, Thursday - Sunday for their post draft mini-camp for new players and rookies.  Congratulations again to Darrell who came a long way around and back again to the NFL after being signed by the Detroit Lions and released because he was out of position at WR.  Now he's at his given position of running back and will shine better than ever.  To watch the video story click the link below, which was developed by his super NFL agent, Christopher Cabott, Esq. at Zane Management in Center City Philly.

Don't forget to leave us your feedback and let us know what you think of the video and your words of encouragement to Darrell getting back into the NFL for the chance of a lifetime.  Thanks for your support and we look forward to working with you all in The Sports Training Academy this summer.

Student-Athletes

Dreams are meant to be big.  Heart is characterized by what you do after adversity.  Pride is something you have within yourself that carries you forward even when you have no reason to believe.  But the most important characteristic you can have as a student-athlete, is being "Educated."

All the things you want in life will be received through your faith, your family, your ability, and your education.

Professional Athletes

Now that you've worked your way to the top at your position or you're trying in to get to the "League", the number one cause of early contract termination is lack of consistency in progressing and maintaining top physical shape.  Speed is a determining factor of your daily workout routine, from sports nutrition through weight management.  A PSTC professional personal "sports" trainer is your wisest investment to continue your career as a professional athlete.

Occupational Athletes

Not just a sports training center, we also promote a healthier lifestyle for active older adults.  The "Weekend Warriors" that want to recapture their youth, prove to their kids how tough they were "back in the day", or just to get back that feeling of accomplishing something that not too many people do in general...compete athletically in organized sports.  We know you used to, but now you can get better with time and not just age.

Senior Athletes

Retirement has been great for senior citizens, but what if - what if they don't want to be the "old bump on a log?"  Our Senior Fitness Center encourages seniors from 60 plus to get back in shape, recover from cardiac trauma, lower cholesterol, keep your joints mobile while having fun with your peers.  Our trainers will provide a unique program catered to your needs.  You can attend once a week, twice a week, or three times per week.
